Department of International Business of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), in association with Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) and International Republican Institute (IRI), hosted Prof. Michael Shank, New York University, USA, for a Seminar entitled `Youth Employment Scenario Across The Regions’’ on March 24, 2019 at IUB in Bashundhara, Dhaka.
The talk focused on the recognizing the immense potentials of youth population, creating a safe and enabling environment for them, where they will fully enjoy their rights, and will grow as capable citizens to take on the responsibility of the future of this world.
Ambassador Farooq Sobhan, Distinguish Research Fellow and Member, Board of Governors, BEI; Prof. M. Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, IUB and; Prof. Mohd Aminul Karim, Dean, School of Business, IUB also spoke at the Seminar.
Tareq Mahbub, Head, International Business, IUB welcomed Prof. Shank, and provided a brief background of her illustrious academic pedigree and achievements.
Prof. Milan Pagon, Pro-Vice Chancellor, IUB, Deans, senior members of the faculty & administration and full house of students attended the Seminar, which was followed by a stimulating and dynamic question and answer session.
